Alas, my visit had to be rescheduled, but judging by Wednesday's agenda, I'm still in for some awesome industry insights like 'So you're a brilliant designer, but do you have the skills to launch and grow your own design business?', a seminar about launching and growing your own successful business, where I'm sure to find a few pointers. Annie Sloan is exhibiting her brand new fabric range too, which I look forward to seeing. And French Atelier Maury, specialists in gilt wood panelling and painted decorations will be presenting their new intriguing "Toile de Laque®", a lacquered linen canvas that recreates the richness and the splendour of the ancient lacquers.
I can't wait to be inspired by new techniques, designs and materials, which is just what I need right now. The end of summer was rather brutal this year and I could do with a little motivation!
